Re:ssak est un trio de musique improvisé originaire de Marseille.
"Barricades" est le 1er enregistrement du groupe. Fruit d'une semaine d'improvisations enregistrées pendant une résidence à l'AMI, "Barricades" mélange instruments traditionnels, objets trouvés, motifs repetitifs et glossolalies, créant des paysages sonores à la fois étranges et familiers,

Enregistré en janvier 2023 aux studios de l'AMI à Marseille. Masterisé par Laurence Wasser en janvier 2024. Un grand merci à: AMI, Mathieu Altmann.

Hailing from Marseille, Re:ssak was born out of Eric and Thomas jamming together in the communal art space they were sharing. Soon they met Laurence and the musical chemistry was there straight away: no talking, just playing. They kept on going and "Barricades" is the first record of the band.
Resulting from a week of improvisations made during a residency at l'AMI in Marseille, "Barricades" mixes repetitive patterns, glossolalias, found objects and traditional instruments. Echoes of politics, vernacular identity and experimental approach melt in an uncanny valley of sounds.

Recorded in january 2023 at AMI studios in Marseille. Edited by E. Vaudatin and L. Wasser. Mastered by L. Wasser in jan 2024. Warm thanks to l'AMI and to Matthieu Altmann.
